Combustion System

The burner, igniter, and flame monitors make up the Combustion System. The gas must be brought to a controlled, uniform temperature in the combustor with the least amount of contaminants and pressure loss possible. In addition to clean combustion and proper gas mixing, the main challenges in combustor design include flame stabilisation, removing pulsation and noise, reducing pressure loss, and maintaining a constant, tightly controlled output temperature. The combustors in gas turbine power plants can be single or numerous. Though it is more difficult to manage, the single-combustor design is bigger and less compact than the many types. Combustion Systems are chemical processes where an oxidant, or substance that transfers oxygen atoms, and a material that can be burned as fuel interact chemically. The
